MedicalSeedS is a seed bank based in Barcelona, founded in 2005 with the mission to improve previously selected genetics to create seeds of the highest quality. We work with a very controlled production size in order to focus our efforts on ensuring the best quality of our seeds. Therefore we work with all varieties separately so that we can study each one in depth and understand their behaviour throughout the growing process. We know how the varieties react to pests, fertilisation, flowering times, indoor/outdoor harvesting, cold resistance and mould. Through meticulous production and strict quality control, we guarantee the quality of our products before they are put on the market. All of our breeding, rearing and live plant research is carried out in countries where cultivation is legal.
Our experience as growers over the years has taught us that it is very important to grow with quality seeds and that is why we have been selecting the best genetics from around the world for a long time. We have always taken great care in combining and crossing strains with the aim of obtaining high quality improved genetics that have been tested over a long and thorough period of time before being released to the market. We are very proud of our strains, which are known for their high yield, taste, aroma, wonderful THC crystallisation and effectiveness as a therapeutic complement for various ailments.
Our strains have won over 100 awards in the last 10 years, both nationally and internationally. More importantly, over 30% of these are cups won by growers who have placed their bets on our seeds, so thank you all very much!
On the medical side, we have done extensive research to facilitate the various uses of cannabis for therapeutic purposes, either by translating studies that have been done in other countries, or by writing articles for various magazines with the aim of showing the public how to make their own tinctures and extracts or to develop plants with either CBD, CBG, THC or a 1:1 ratio.
We are deeply involved in promoting the therapeutic aspect of cannabis, differentiating ourselves from other seed banks through information on responsible consumption methods and advising our customers on the therapeutic properties of this plant. We also collaborate with different institutions and companies in projects related to the development of cannabis products and extracts such as CBD.
All this research work has led us to write a book "Cannabis Extractions" where we compile all the information and experience we have accumulated over the years. This book develops, step by step, the mechanical and chemical processes of cannabis extraction. An illustrated book, in two languages, English and Spanish, and with all kinds of details and photographs.
